The salt cave itself is made of about 30 tons of salt, both
domestic and imported, which has been pressure processed and
encrusted with salt nuggets. The cave utilizes a large ventilation
system to maintain a suitable humidity, temperature and circulation
within the cave. This ensures that the proper elements, such
as: iodine, magnesium, potassium and bromide are released
into the air. These microelements help ease several respiratory
problems, including: chronic or temporary respiratory inflammations,
asthma, exhaustion, weak immune system, allergies, cardiovascular
illness and hypertension.
In addition to its therapeutic function, the salt cave is
